Keyboards

If you were in Toronto in the ’60s, you would head to Yorkville to hear the hottest rock and blues. I was there, at the Purple Onion, playing piano and organ with Luke and the Apostles every night. I was also working days as a designer at McClelland & Stewart, book publishers. Something had to give, call it lack of sleep, so I dropped music.

25 years later, when I moved to a farm south of Peterborough, it was time to get back into music. I met Kevin Carley at the Sunday jam at the Red Dog in 1998 and that hot music feeling was back. I have been playing keyboards in his band since then.
